Product description
Copper washer is a kind of sealing spare part used for machinery, equipment and pipeline as long as there is fluid. It uses internal and external materials for sealing. Copper washer is made of metal or non-metal plate material by cutting, stamping or cutting, which is used for sealing connection between pipes and between machine parts of machine equipment.

Installation attention
1. The sealing surface of the copper gasket shall be cleaned and free from any scratch, spot and other defects affecting the sealing performance of the connection.
2. The pre tightening force of the copper gasket shall not exceed the design requirements, so as to avoid the loss of resilience due to excessive compression of the sealing gasket.
3. When pressing the copper pad, use a torque wrench. For large bolts and high strength bolts, use hydraulic tensioner.
4. When installing the sealing gasket and copper gasket, tighten the nuts in sequence. Generally, it should be cycled at least 2-3 times, so that the stress distribution of sealing gasket is uniform.
5. For pressure vessels and pipes with inflammable and explosive media, safety tools shall be used when replacing the sealing gasket to avoid sparks and fire or explosion accidents.
6. If there is any leakage in the pipeline, the sealing gasket must be replaced or adjusted and installed after pressure reduction. It is strictly prohibited to operate under pressure.
It is an important sealing element, widely used in petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, power generation, shipbuilding and other industries. It is the key component of static seal for pressure pipeline, valve, pump, heat exchanger and other equipment.
