Our factory generally uses tin bronze or aluminum bronze for casting worm gear. Different grades of materials have some
differences in performance and price, as long as they are enough. Qal9-5-1-1, qal10-5-3 are suitable for wear-resistant parts
with high strength and parts working at 400-500 ℃. The following are various worm gear materials commonly used in our factory:
Worm gear material selection can not only care about wear resistance, but also depends on whether the material has good
lubricity. Because of the relative sliding of the worm gear pair in the transmission, the sliding friction determines the efficiency of
the reducer, which is also one of the indicators of the quality of the reducer. The material with good lubricity can reduce friction
and heat, improve the working condition of reducer, and reduce the wear of worm gear and worm. In addition, the wear
resistance of the copper worm gear material is too high, which will reduce the running in performance of the worm gear pair,
and actually increase the manufacturing difficulty. The wear resistance of metal materials is generally proportional to the
surface hardness of metal, that is to say, the harder things are, the more wear-resistant.
Main use: widely used in pharmaceutical, chemical, food and other industries.
