Composition

Plastic case with built-in high voltage generator, battery and potentiometer. There is a strip metal electrode (high-voltage positive pole) on the upper back of the case and an electrode socket (high-voltage negative pole) on the bottom of the case. On the left of the case, there is a charging socket. On the upper front of the case, there are a switch and a voltage knob.

Features

A. Equipped with rechargeable battery; push the switch forward, the indicator lights up, and the lifter is turned on. At this time, the anode plate and the cathode socket carry high-voltage static electricity.

B. Turn the voltage knob to adjust the output voltage between 14KV and 30KV. If the dust is thick, a low voltage should be applied; if the dust is thin, a high voltage should be applied.

C. When the battery is exhausted, plug the charger into the charging socket; the red light of the charger indicates “charging” and the green light indicates “full charge”.

D. When the battery is exhausted, it can be temporarily replaced with 4 AA 1.2V dry batteries.

Lift a trail of footprints on a hard surface

Place the lifting film roll close to one end of the footprints and press the anode plate on the lifting film and connect the cathode plate to the ground. Turn the power on, the positive charges are transmitted to the lifting film through the anode plate and the negative charges flow into the earth through the cathode plate. Like charges repel each other, therefore, the lifting film roll will unfold automatically and cover the footprints. The static charges flowing into the lifting film generate an electric field that adsorbs the dust footprints to the lifting film.

If the ground is an insulating material such as wooden floor or plastic floor, the negative charges cannot be discharged into the earth and the positive charges cannot flow into the lifting film in a sufficient amount, then the lifting film cannot be unfolded, nor can it generate sufficient adsorption force for the dust. To solve this problem, plug one end of the ground wire extension into the cathode jack, and connect the other end to the ground wire. Place the grounding probe of the ground wire on the conductive floor outside the room, or connect it to the heating pipe, water pipe or other conductors. In this way, when the lifter is turned on, the negative charges can smoothly flow into the earth, and the positive charges can flow into the lifting film sufficiently.

Lift a single footprint on a hard surface

Hold the safe area of the lifting film, move it close to one end of the footprint, press the anode plate on the lifting film and connect the cathode plate to the ground. Turn the power on and slowly release the lifting film to make it cover the footprint. The positive charges are transmitted to the lifting film through the anode plate and the negative charges flow into the earth through the cathode plate. The static charges flowing into the lifting film generate an electric field that adsorbs the dust footprints to the lifting film.

Lift a single footprint on a soft surface

Place the lifting mat on the dust print, press the anode plate on the lifting mat, and press the handle firmly to attach the lifting mat to the soft surface closely. Plug the ground wire into the cathode socket and place the grounding probe on the conductive ground. Turn the power on, the positive charges are transmitted to the lifting mat through the anode plate and the negative charges flow into the earth through the ground wire. The static charges flowing into the lifting mat generate an electric field that adsorbs the dust footprints to the lifting mat.
