TipTop offers a variety of stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, nickel, monel, and super austenitic welded and seamless coiled tubing, depending upon the properties the tubing is required to exhibit. Other alloys and sizes available upon request. Stainless steels exhibit excellent forming and welding characteristics, while duplex stainless steels has greater yield strength than austenitic stainless steel. Nickel alloys have high corrosion resistance and temperature strength, while super-austenitic alloys were designed to resist crevice corrosion, pitting, chloride-induced corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking.
Inconel 625 is a nickel-base alloy used both for its high strength and outstanding aqueous corrosion resistance. The strength of alloy 625 is primarily a solid solution effect from molybdenum and columbium. Alloy 625 has excellent weldability and is frequently used to weld AL-6XN® alloy. Matching filler metals are also used to join dissimilar metals.
