The pressure reducing valve is controlled by the control chamber to control the action of the valve, and the control chamber is communicated with the pressure behind the valve through the small hole. When the pressure behind the valve fluctuates, the control chamber pushes the action of the valve disc to keep the pressure stable, and the pressure gauge shows the pressure at the outlet.
Pressure reducing valve is a pressure control valve that uses the principle of hydraulic oil flow through the gap to produce pressure drop, so that the outlet pressure is lower than the inlet pressure.
The pressure reducing valve uses the opening of the opening and closing parts of the control valve body to adjust the flow rate of the medium, reduce the pressure of the medium, and adjust the opening and closing parts with the effect of the pressure after the valve, so that the pressure after the valve is kept within a certain range, and the cooling water is sprayed into the valve body or after the valve, and the temperature of the medium is reduced. The characteristic of the valve is to keep the outlet listening pressure and temperature value within a certain range when the inlet pressure is constantly changing.
According to the structure of the reducing valve can be divided into film type, spring film type, piston type, lever type and bellows type; According to the number of seats can be single seat and double seat; According to the different position of the valve disc can be divided into positive action type and reaction type.
When the output pressure of the pressure reducing valve is higher or the diameter is larger, the pressure regulating spring is used to directly adjust the pressure, the spring stiffness is inevitably too large, and the output pressure fluctuates greatly when the flow rate changes, and the structural size of the valve will also increase. In order to overcome these shortcomings, pilot operated pressure reducing valves can be used. The working principle of the pilot type pressure reducing valve is basically the same as that of the direct acting type. The pressure regulating gas used in the pilot pressure reducing valve is supplied by a small direct acting pressure reducing valve. If the small direct-acting pressure reducing valve is installed inside the valve body, it is called the internal pilot pressure reducing valve; If the small direct acting pressure reducing valve is installed outside the main body, it is called an external pilot pressure reducing valve.
According to different adjustment requirements can be divided into:
(1) Fixed pressure reducing valve: used to ensure that the outlet pressure is a fixed value of the pressure reducing valve
(2) Differential pressure reducing valve: used to ensure that the pressure difference between the import and export is unchanged
(3) proportional pressure reducing valve: used to ensure that the inlet and outlet pressure is proportional to the pressure reducing valve
