► Introduction

Cement screw conveyor is bulk material handling equipment, which usually consists of a tube containing either a spiral blade coiled around a shaft (sometimes called an auger), driven at one end and held at the other. The main parts include tube, shaft with spiral blades, inlet and outlet chutes, as well as driving device.
Screw Conveyor for Silo Cement is a kind of continuous transmission equipment and it uses rotation screw to convey materials. It allows multiple inlets and outlets. It is ideal for loose materials in the shape of powder and particles, such as cement, fly ash, sand, stone powder, grain, etc. But this machine is not suitable for materials featured by large viscidity, caking, or perishable.
Working angle of the Screw Conveyor for Silo Cement is in the range 0~45°. It can be used together with other conveyor devices. In concrete mixing plant, screw convey is ideal for conveying cement from cement silo to mixing machine and from cement silo to batching machine.

► Operating Principle

Within a tube, the LSY screw conveyor uses a rotating helical screw blade, to move granular and powdery materials. Cement screw feeder is usually installed at a incline in many industries, such as concrete mixing station, bulk material transit storage, etc.
