The valve is used to open and close the pipeline, control the flow direction, adjust and control the parameters of the transmission medium (temperature, pressure and flow) of the pipeline accessories. According to its function, it can be divided into shut-off valve, check valve, regulating valve and so on. It can be manufactured by CNC engraving, Sand Casting, transparent acrylic(PMMA/PC) 3D Printing.
(1) Turn off the valve
This kind of valve is used for opening and closing. Standing in the cold, heat source inlet and outlet, equipment inlet and outlet, pipe branch lines (including risers), can also be used as water valve and air relief valve. Common shut-off valves are gate valves, globe valves, ball valves and butterfly valves.
Gate valves can be divided into open rod and dark rod, single gate and double gate, wedge gate and parallel gate. The closing tightness of gate valve is not good, and the opening of large-diameter gate valve is difficult; The valve body size along the flow direction is small, the flow resistance is small, and the nominal diameter of the gate valve is large.
The globe valve is divided into three kinds according to the medium flow direction: straight through type, right Angle type and straight flow type, with open rod and dark rod. The closing tightness of the globe valve is better than that of the gate valve, the valve body is long, the flow resistance is large, and the maximum nominal diameter is DN200.
The spool of the ball valve is a round ball with an open hole. When the plate moving valve stem makes the ball open directly to the pipe axis, it is fully open, and turns 90° to be fully closed. Ball valve has a certain adjustment performance, close more tight.
The spool of the butterfly valve is a circular valve plate, which can be rotated along the vertical axis of the vertical pipe axis. When the plane of the valve plate is consistent with the axis of the pipe, it is fully open; When the gate plane is perpendicular to the pipe axis, it is completely closed. The butterfly valve body length is small, the flow resistance is small, and the price is higher than the gate valve and the globe valve.
