2. The cubic boron nitride micro-nano crystal powder and the binder are synthesized into polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PCBN) under high temperature and high pressure.
PCBN has strong chemical inertness and will not chemically react with ferrous metals at high temperatures

PCBN tools generally use negative rake angle, large relief angle and negative chamfering and grinding to enhance the strength and wear resistance of the cutting edge.
In addition, it is very important to accurately judge the PCBN life. If the tool wear is severe, the cutting force and cutting temperature increase, and it is difficult to control the size and surface integrity of the workpiece during cutting. It is recommended that regrinding should be carried out when the wear amount of the PCBN tool flank face is 0.3~0.6mm (the minimum value during fine turning).
