Mini Pleat AHU HEPA Filter is made of ultra-fine fiberglass, it designed into continuity fold paper for providing larger filtration area. Mini-pleats media design also can extending filter life and decreasing filter pressure drop. Air can through media smoothly with low resistant. What’s more, folded media separated through hot melt adhesive to make sure there are no chemical pollution air release to our clean space. Mini Pleat AHU HEPA Filter testing according to EN-1822 standard, filtration efficiency guaranteed from 99.97 % to 99.999 % for particles size at 0.3 micro meter.
High efficiency particulate air (HEPA),originally called high-efficiency particulate absorber but also sometimes called high-efficiency particulate arresting or high-efficiency particulate arrestance, is a type of air filter. Filters meeting the HEPA standard have many applications, including use in clean rooms for IC fabrication, medical facilities, automobiles, aircraft and homes. The filter must satisfy certain standards of efficiency such as those set by the United States Department of Energy (DOE).
Varying standards define what qualifies as a HEPA filter. The two most common standards require that an air filter must remove (from the air that passes through) 99.95% (European Standard) or 99.97% (ASME standard)[4] of particles that have a size greater than or equal to 0.3 µm. HEPA was commercialized in the 1950s, and the original term became a registered trademark and later a generic term for highly efficient filters
