Full Automation Pipe Making Machinery With Online Testing Machine API Tube Mill

API pipe mill is specialized for manufacturing straight welded pipe for petroleum and gas pipelines. Taking hot-rolled steel as raw material, it produces required pipes through cold roll forming and suitable welding methods like H.F. welding, submerged arc welding, and so on. The whole production line adopts ‘ZTF’ forming technology.

Process Flow

Steel Coil → Double-arm Uncoiler → Shear and End Cutting & Welding → Coil Accumulator → Forming (Flattening Unit + Main Driving Unit + Forming Unit + Guide Unit + High Frequency Induction Welding Unit + Squeeze Roller) → Deburring → Water Cooling → Sizing & Straightening → Flying Saw Cutting → Pipe Conveyor → Packaging → Warehouse Storage

Machine Details

Uncoiler

Function: Used for supporting strip steel coil and open it as strip steel so as to make preparation for the pipe forming process

 

Five-roll Flattener

Function: Flattener is for the flattening procedure of the strip steel cut from steel coil, ensuring a steady dimension of strip steel with minimum deficiency

 

Shearing butt welding

2 Types: Automatic & Manual Function: Shear & end welder parallel cuts the head of the strip coming out of uncoiler and the tail of the strip steel going into the accumulator, and weld them together to form a smooth and continuous line of strip steel

Strip Accumulator

Function: Accumulator is used to accumulate strip steel from uncoiler and provide strip steel to forming unit. It leaves time for the shear & end welder for strip welding and stores certain amount of strip for continuous forming

 

Forming & Sizing Mill

Forming & Sizing Mill

Function: The forming & sizing mill is the main equipment of the weld pipe production line. It continuously reel the raw steel sheet into desired size of cylinder or cuboid with precisely positioned roll stands and mold and then weld it to pipe or tube with high frequency welder.

Solid State High Frequency Welder

Function: The welder is used for welding edge heating with high-frequency heating device. The whole set of solid-state H.F welder comprises of rectifying cabinet, inverter, output cabinet, connecting optical fiber, closed loop water cooling system, central operator console, and mechanical adjustment device.

Zinc Spraying Machine

Function: It is used to spray zinc on the welding seam after scraping external burr.

Saw Cutting System

Function: Flying saw is used to cut tube during static and motion status in continuously production into desired length.

Straighting Machine

Function:

Automatic Stacking and Packing Machine

Function: Electrical control using PLC control, touch screen, to achieve human-computer dialogue, manual, automatic between the free conversion.
