Carbon Fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites have been used for structural strengthening in China for almost 20 years. As a result, the use of FRP for strengthening and retrofit is gaining more popularity among design professionals over conventional strengthening techniques, such as installation of supplemental structural steel frames and elements.
XQ-C300 is a high strength, unidirectional carbon fiber fabric. Material is field laminated using epoxy to form a carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) used to strengthen structural concrete elements.
