Product overview
Rock wool is a kind of artificial inorganic fiber, which is made of selected basalt as the main raw material and processed by high temperature melting. It has the characteristics of light weight, small thermal conductivity, good sound absorption, non combustion and good chemical stability. It is a new type of heat preservation, heat insulation, sound-absorbing material and rock wool fabric, which not only has the characteristics of general rock wool, but also has the properties of water-proof, heat preservation, heat insulation and cold insulation. It has certain chemical stability, and will not deliquesce even if it is used for a long time under humid conditions. According to the jisa95-1979 method test, the starting hydrophobicity rate is more than 98%. Because its products do not contain fluorine (F -) and chlorine (CL), it has no corrosive effect on the equipment. Rock wool is incombustible material. It is an ideal material for heat preservation, heat insulation, cold insulation and sound absorption of industrial equipment such as buildings, pipes, storage pipes, distillation towers, boilers, flue ducts, heat exchangers, fans, vehicles and ships.
Scope of application
Rock wool products are widely used in construction, petroleum, electric power, metallurgy, national defense, transportation and other industries. They are ideal materials for heat insulation and sound insulation of industrial equipment such as pipeline storage tank, boiler, flue, heat exchanger, fan, vehicle and ship.
Product advantages
Fire prevention: the surface material and thermal insulation material of rock wool board are non combustible materials, which can fully meet the requirements of fire prevention specifications. The combustion performance depends on the amount of combustible adhesive. Rock wool itself belongs to inorganic mineral fiber and is not combustible. The service life of the plate can be more than 35 years. Sound insulation performance: rock wool products have excellent sound insulation and sound absorption. The sound absorption mechanism is that the products have porous structure. When sound waves pass through, friction occurs due to the effect of flow resistance, so that part of the sound energy is absorbed by fibers, which hinders the transmission of sound waves. Thermal insulation: rock wool has low thermal conductivity and good thermal insulation effect. Good thermal insulation is the basic characteristic of rock wool and its products. Under normal temperature (about 250C), the thermal conductivity of rock wool is usually between 0.03 and 0.047w / (Mok).
