1. Introduction
White corundum is made from industrial alumina powder, which is melted in arc furnace at a high temperature of more than 2000 degrees and then cooled. After grinding and shaping, magnetic separation of iron, particle size screening into different products.
White Fused Alumina is a pure, clear Fused Alumina, which makes the whitest vitrified wheels possible with low soda and silica content. This is the most friable aluminum oxide. Due to its high purity and large crystal size, its crystals fracture comparatively swiftly and constantly cutting crystals to small pieces.
