Product Description:

Brown corundum is manufactured by using high-quality bauxite, coke (anthracite) as the main raw materials. It is smelted by high temperature in an arc furnace, resulting in a material with short grinding time, high efficiency, and low cost. The product has moderate hardness, high toughness, good self-sharpening, low sand consumption, and can be recycled and reused. Brown corundum's stable chemical composition offers wear-resistance, acid, and alkali resistance. The abrasives have a conchoidal structure with sharp edges and corners, which can form new edges and corners during continuous grinding. This makes it superior to other abrasives. Brown corundum has a unique self-sharpening property, high hardness, big specific gravity and stable chemical properties making it the ideal choice for abrasive blasting. This can remove rust, decontaminate metal, remove oxide skin and welding slag for achieving a matte effect.

Brown corundum abrasive is produced by using high-quality bauxite, anthracite, and iron filings, which are arc smelted at 2000°C or higher temperatures. The smelted product undergoes crushing, plasticizing by a self-grinding machine, magnetically selecting to remove iron, and is finally sieved into various sizes. This results in a dense and hard material of high spherical pellets, suitable for the production of ceramic, high-resistance abrasive resin, grinding and polishing, sandblasting, precision casting, and more. Brown corundum abrasive has high purity, good crystallization, strong fluidity, low coefficient of linear expansion, and corrosion resistance. The product is also characterized by no explosion, no chalking, and no cracking in the application process, making it cost-effective.
