• APPLICATION

At present, the polishing and grinding effects of BLACK FUSED ALUMINA are mainly divided into two categories:

ONE is black fused alinina grain size #90-280#, used for sandblasting, grinding and polishing of various stainless steel, ordinary steel, copper, aluminum, bamboo, glass and other workpieces, especially in the polishing treatment of stainless steel surface, the effect is more prominent .
Polishing stainless steel workpieces with black fused alumina is not easy to burn the surface of the workpiece.

After polishing, the surface of the workpiece shows the uniform color of the stainless steel itself, and the appearance is very high. Unlike brown fused alunimia or white fused alumina, which is easy to burn the workpiece after polishing, and it is easy to appear black and dark in some parts, which will affect the visual effect of the product.

Taking the polishing of stainless steel workpieces as an example, the specific use method of black fused alumina is introduced below.
Traditionally, a few cloth wheels are put on the shaft of the polishing machine, and then the boiled bone glue is applied to the outer circle of the cloth wheel, and then the cloth wheel with bone glue on the outer circle is placed on the flat sand disc with black fused alumina. After the grit is evenly bonded to the outer circle of the cloth wheel, put the cloth wheel in the oven until the bone glue is solidified and the sand is firmly bonded to the cloth wheel. The cloth wheel can be taken out and installed on the polishing machine. The polishing machine rotates, and the polished workpiece touches the outer circle of the cloth wheel with an appropriate force to complete the polishing of the workpiece.

It can also be made from black fused alumina into emery cloth and converted into abrasive belts, and made into sponge blocks, resin grinding wheels, nylon wheels and other abrasive products for polishing.
