Brown aluminum oxide, also called Brown Fused Alumina, brown corundum, artificial corundum, BFA, etc, is made by melting process and reducing in electric furnace over 2200°C with three raw materials of bauxite, anthracite and iron chip. Then made into different grain size through cooling crystallization, sort, crush, magnetic separation, screen size, blow cleaning etc..
The refractory grade section sand available sizes are 0-1mm, 1-3mm, 3-5mm, 5-8mm etc...
