Heavy Duty Slurry Pumps For Aggregate Processing , Slurry Pumping Systems
Introduction:
Slurry pumping system is more than important to the mining sectors, esp. for the tailings disposal applications. If you need heavy duty three-phase pumps with high volume or high head capabilities, SME has a wide range of slurry pumps designed for tough mining and industrial applications. All of our pumps are interchangeable.
SBH slurry pump is a good solution for coal washing, coal washery plants. SBH slurry pump is heavy duty, high head, hard metal design, which at the same time, is higher in cost than other series of slurry pumps. SBH slurry pumps are available from size 1'' (25mm) to 6'' (150mm).
Pumps for tailing: Depending on particle size both rubber and metal pumps can be used. Pumps for hydrocyclone feed: For sharp classification use horizontal pumps type SH. Pumps for pressure filter feed: High head needed with variable speed control (alternatively two-speed drive). Pumps for tube press feed: Small flow and high head, use metal pumps of type SH. One pump can feed many tubes by a slurry distribution ring. Pumps for dense media (heavy media): High inlet head and high percent solids in combination with low discharge head can cause expeller seal leakage problems. Pumps for general purpose (mineral): Horizontal pumps are ideal for normal duty in mineral process circuits. Rubber is normally preferred in[hard rock" concentrators.
