It is required to have a small friction coefficient, stable physical and chemical properties, wide temperature application range and good sealing performance. Among the more common materials include tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), nylon, and some synthetic rubbers. However, these materials have certain defects. For example, tetrafluoroethylene has a high coefficient of thermal expansion, poor thermal conductivity, and insufficient sensitivity to temperature. When the sealing material becomes hard, its sealing property is also reduced. It is when the pressure difference is low. Some synthetic rubbers are limited in the range of use of the medium and temperature. If the corresponding lubricant is not added, the phenomenon of seizure is likely to occur.
