First Grade Stable Performance UV CTP Printing Plates For Light Printing
Description
UV CTP plates are a specialized type of printing plate that is widely used in the computer-to-plate (CTP) printing process. These plates utilize ultraviolet (UV) light to create the printing image and consist of three layers: a substrate, a photosensitive layer, and a protective layer.
The photosensitive layer of the UV CTP plate contains a photopolymer that reacts to UV light. When the plate is exposed to UV light through a film negative or digital file, the exposed areas of the photosensitive layer undergo a chemical transformation, which makes them more receptive to ink.
Once the plate is exposed, it is mounted onto the printing press, where ink is applied directly to the plate. The ink adheres to the exposed areas of the plate, while the non-image areas remain free of ink. This creates a printing image on the plate that can produce high-quality prints with exceptional detail and clarity.
