Water heater anode rod or sacrificial anode is the important component part with only one purpose to protect metal tank from corrosion.Extruded Magnesium anodes have high current to weight ratio,are suitable to be used in where a small diameter anode is required such as Water Heater,Water container,Pre-polarization of steel structure in seawater,Gas pipe,Anticorrosion of steel and iron structure where high resistant and electrolyte(soil and water) existed to give enough cathodic current.
The anode rod of the water heater is still very useful. The electrochemical reaction is used to make the metal ions in the water produce water-soluble salts, so as not to scale in the water heater, prolong the service life of the water heater and ensure the normal operation of the machine.
1.Magnesium rod produces a stronger current to protect water tank with triple defense against water odor, inner-wall rust and corrosion.
2.Made from magnesium rather than aluminum, 44 inch anode rod helps you avoid any potential unhealthy side effects from aluminum by-products.
