How to Repair and Season Cast Iron Gridlle Pan
Scrape off rust
Use a brush and hot water to remove as many loose rust particles as possible from the pan.
Soak the gridlle pan
Mix lemon juice and baking soda, then use a washcloth to dip and apply to all rusted surfaces throughout the griddle pan.
Remove residue
Cover the gridlle pan with plastic wrap or place it in an airtight plastic bag. Wait at least 24 hours for the paste to remove the rust, then scrub the pan with a brush and hot water to remove any residue. If rust marks remain, repeat these steps to re-season the surface.
