Keyless Remote Key Fob Replacement 5 Button smart car key fob For Chrysler 300 LX

The available Remote Start feature allows you to start your vehicle from up to 100 feet away. The Remote Start button (2X) is located on your key fob transmitter, which has an extended operating range.

To remote start your vehicle:

1. Press the Lock button on your key fob to lock all the doors.
2. Press the Remote Start button (2X) twice. Steps must be done within 3 seconds.The exterior lamps will flash twice and the vehicle will start.
3. For some vehicles,a light on your remote will let you know whether or not your car started​.The horn will sound if the system fails to start unless quiet start is on. Quiet start runs the blower fan at a slower speed to reduce noise. You can switch it on or off in the information display.
4. The power windows will not work during the remote start and the radio will not turn on automatically.
5. The parking lamps will remain on and the vehicle will run for 5, 10, or 15 minutes, depending on the setting.

Description

This system uses the key fob to start the engine conveniently from outside the vehicle while still maintaining security. The system has a range of approximately 300ft (91 m).

Remote Start is used to defrost windows in cold weather, and to reach a comfortable climate in all ambient conditions before the driver enters the vehicle.

Note: The official remote control distance data of FOB KEY is 100 meters. According to the actual vehicle test, the remote control distance is between 80-130 meters according to the remote control environment.

REMOTE START OPERATION

Push and release the Remote Stant button on the key fob twice within five seconds. The vehicle doors and swing gate will lock, the tum signalswill flash twice. and the hom will chirp twice.

• In ambient temperatures of 40 F (4.5C) or below, the climate settings will default to maximum heat, with fresh air entering the cabin. If the front defrost timer expires, the vehicle will enter Mox mode.
• In ambient temperatures from 40'F(4.5'C) to 78F (26C), the climate settings will be based on the last settings selected by the driver.
• In ambient temperatures of 78F(26'C) or above, the climate settings will default to MAX A/C, Bi-Level mode, with Recirculation on.
