They are constructed from a variety of materials including UL2651, UL2464, UL2468, Silicone, PVC, HDPE, TPE, and , all of which are capable of operating in temperatures ranging from -25℃ to +85℃. IDC cables feature a 2.54mm pitch and are available in flat or round cables, with UL2464 wire, shielded wire, Tin Plated Copper, OFC Copper, and Pure Copper conductors. The cables come in a variety of lengths, with a minimum length of 50mm.

The insulation cover is environmentally friendly PVC 45P (RoHS) 8058 gray, with testing requirements that require good appearance (so there should be no injection defects on plastic parts).
