If the coil has lost its memory it is best to replace the product as this is indicative that the lanyard experienced a drop. Remove and replace if: There is any evidence of wear. Lanyard experiences a drop. Carabiner doesn't close properly. Any doubt of products integrity. Welded Rings or Key Rings are bent. Cracks, slits or stress risers in the coil material.
Do not use this product on or near rotating equipment. Improper use could result in death or dismemberment. Never attach lanyard to a pant loop. Always wear proper PPE.
