ISO9001 Certified Transmission Line Construction Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
Our MARSHINE ISO9001 certified transmission line specific drones can be used to fly strong and lightweight ropes and attach them to the tower, which is usually done by helicopter or workers climbing the tower. Both methods carry risks for helicopter pilots and ground crew. The use of drones eliminates the previously complicated process, including several steps to reattach the ropes, and reduces the risk of injury to those involved.
This was a great proof of concept for drones as we demonstrated that they can fly both the outboard and centerline through the middle of the center phase of the tower. Both the helicopter and tower climbing methods have risks.
