Ideal for high-data-rate transfer applications such as Thunderbolt™ 3 (20 Gbps/lane), these connectors are designed to prevent EMI leakage through 360-degree EMI shielding and a multi-point ground design. They ensure high contact reliability with a 0.65 mm wiping length and offer a strong mating retention force, optionally enhanced with a mechanical lock.
