Definition:
Far Infrared Fiber (FIR) fibers possess the unique ability to convert absorbed energy into the emission of FIR rays. These fibers are typically derived from traditional materials but have been enhanced through the incorporation of a substance with suitable electromagnetic absorption and emission properties. Far Infrared Thermal Fabric, for instance, is created using ceramic nanoparticles that absorb energy from sunlight or the human body, subsequently emitting far-infrared rays with a wavelength of 8~12μm back to the body. As a result, Far Infrared Radiation can penetrate deep into the skin, prompting water molecules to resonate and generate heat. This, in turn, facilitates thermal expansion in blood vessels, leading to improved blood circulation, metabolism, and cell vitality. Functional textiles can benefit from the inclusion of FIR thermal fabric, as it not only provides thermal comfort but also offers potential for thermal therapy.
