The chain bucket unloader is specifically designed to unload bulk material from a railroad car. It`s mainly used to unload bulk materials like limestone, coal, and wood pellets. The coal is unloaded from the wagon by a chain bucket, which is lowered down by a hoisting system to reclaim the material. The materials are discharged to the belt conveyor and then transfer to the ground belt conveyor. The chain bucket unloader is usually applied to coal-fired power companies.
