Description
The fermenter is also called CCT (Cylindrical Conical Tank), FV (Fermentation Vessel), primary fermentor or uni-tank as they are used both for fermenting and lagering. Fermenting is the process during which the yeast transforms the wort into beer. Lagers take place after fermenting and is the time given to the beer to stabilize and age after fermenting.
Vertical Bright Beer Tank is often also called serving tanks, tax determination tanks or clear beer tanks (=CBTs), Vertical Bright Beer Tanks (=BBTs) or maturation or conditioning tanks. These tanks are used for the storage of the beer prior to being served or packaged. Depending on their application the beer serving tanks can be glycol jacketed or can be located in a cold room. For brewpubs serving is often done by pumping or pressurizing the beer toward the serving location.
Detailed cooling process 15bbl beer fermenter
A. Please set a suitable fermenting temp on the control panel according to the beer you will brew.
B. Once beer temperature inside the tank is higher than the temperature you set, the control panel will convey the signal to the solenoid valve. 15bbl beer fermenter
C. The solenoid valve will be opened automatically.
D. The glycol-water will flow into the glycol jacket to cool down the beer.
E. After the beer temperature is lower than the temperature you set, the control panel will convey the signal to the solenoid valve. Then the valve will be closed automatically.
