SBS board, also referred to as FBB or Ivory Board, also known as a premium quality high smoothness
uncoated white card that provides excellent printability and run ability, is a paperboard grade made up of
multiple layers of chemical and mechanical pulp. This is a low-density material with high stiffness and has a
slightly yellow color, mainly on the inside. Double sides of paper surface are white, one side coated, it is
touches very smooth .

For industry printing and industry packaging |
1. It is perfect for a vast variety of packaging applications.
2. Made up of multiple layers of chemical and mechanical pulp. The top layer consists of bleached chemical
pulp with an optional pigment coating, and the reverse layer may be bleached or unbleached chemical pulp.
3. This paperboard is characterised by air between the fibres that gives it a high thickness and makes it a
good printing surface.
4. SBS board has a smoother surface than SBB which has a direct effect on print quality. The surface can
reflect more light which gives the effect of more brightness.
5. Ink settings on press can be reduced by up to 20 % and the same densities as SBS are achievable.
The major end uses of this SBS board are health and beauty products, frozen, chilled and other foods, for
gift boxes, shopping bags, confectionaries, pharmaceuticals, graphical uses and cigarettes. It's also ideal for
photo base paper for ink jet printing, greeting card, name card , hang tags and others.
