Heparin tubes widely used for the collection and anticoagulation of blood specimens for clinical biochemistry examination and emergency biochemistry examination, also applicable to that for some hemorheology items, it is supplemented with heparin anticoagulant in the form of sodium or lithium salts. Advanced microspray technology ensures that heparin anticoagulants act rapidly on blood specimens, making possible immediately available plasma specimen for clinical trials. Therefore, it is mostly used for emergency biochemical tests.As the hemorheological properties of heparin-anticoagulated specimens are not significantly different, it is also commonly selected for hemorheological test.
