The YDLR-5 bag bitumen melting equipment developed by our company takes diesel oil burner as heating sources, thermal oil as heating medium, and the equipment heats the coil to finish the cutting, heating, melting and continuous heating. And the equipment guarantees the heating quality and has the features of high heating efficiency, labor intensity reduction and pollution reduction.

Bag bitumen melter components

The equipment mainly consists of melting tank, lifting system, diesel burner, exhaust flue heating system, thermal oil heating system, bitumen pump, pipe system and electric control system.

Working principle

This equipment is specially designed for the melting and heating of 1 ton bag asphalt. The shape is square tank. The top of the equipment is equipped with a electric hoist. The bag asphalt is lifted by the hoist to the feeding port at the top of the equipment. The bottom bag is cut by knives, then the asphalt block in the bag will be taken out and dropped into the equipment through the feeding port to be heated. There are 5 feeding ports, each port will be with one movable lid for insulation and rain proof.

Features

1. Structure of this equipment is a closed chamber with electric hoist on the top, bitumen bags are elevated by the gantry crane, cut the bag bottom by knives and then the bitumen block will be dropped into the melter. The equipment is of nice shape, compact and neat design, high production efficiency, stable and reliable performance, no bitumen waste or pollution and it is able to operate under all kinds of working conditions.

2. Double heating. The heat radiation area of the coiled heat transfer oil pipelines in the equipment is very large, it takes very short time to melt bitumen, cut into small pieces and improves production efficiency to a large degree. The heating coils (heat transfer oil pipelines) are divided into two sections and each section is independently controlled. Heat can be properly allocated between upper compartment and lower compartment so as to ensure synchronization between block bitumen melting and asphalt liquefying. The whole heating chamber is enclosed by thickened premium rock wool heat insulation panels, so the heat preservation is excellent.

3. Temperature control. The diesel oil burner start or shut is automatically controlled by two temperature together, say asphalt temperature and thermal oil temperature, when the temperature reaches the upper limit, the burner will be stopped. Otherwise, it will be started.

4. Automatic impurity removal. This equipment has a function of automatic impurity removal. Filtration devices are installed in bitumen pipelines, and impurities in the bag bitumen can be removed by such filtration devices.

5. Customization: The equipment can be customized according to the dimension of bitumen bag.
