Although big industrial ceiling fans have been invented for almost a decade, their low-energy brushless DC (BLDC) version is a relatively new innovation. These bring all the benefits of moving large amounts of air with very low energy consumption, but also bring additional benefits, namely that they are easy to install and much lower operating costs, and can even achieve faster returns within months.
The DYMFAN big industrial ceiling fan was launched in China in 2016 and has an astonishing 18,000 m3/h airflow-equivalent to 15 ordinary ceiling fans! Because of its high performance, light weight, low energy consumption, easy installation and most importantly, its high value, it has become popular there.

How does it work
The principle behind the big industrial ceiling fan is to move a very large amount of air by using large-diameter fan blades rotating at a low speed to break up the stratified air layer. The low speed of the fan makes it more efficient to convert electrical energy into useful laminar flow, rather than generating wasteful turbulence and resistance at higher speeds-which ultimately only generates unwanted heat. These large blades move more air than their smaller ceiling fans, usually 5-20 times, and have the same cooling effect. No other cooling system can be as energy-efficient as a system using HVLS industrial fans. In fact, research shows that companies can reduce or even completely eliminate the use of expensive air conditioning systems through optimized big industrial ceiling fan solutions.
