Lutein, alias carotenoids, lutein, alcohol, carrot plants, marigold pigment and luteal nuclear plant lutein, English named Lutein, molecular formula C40H56O2, molecular weight is 568.85. Orange powder, paste or liquid, insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvent [1].
