Q. What is Remy hair?
A. The highest quality of human hair.
Remy hair must have the following attributes:
Cuticles are not allowed to be stripped, and aligned in a single flow to provide the highest
quality natural looking extensions.
Cuticles are essential to give authentic, natural looks as well as prevent tangling, increase
longevity, and make hair shine.
Q. How much hair do I need?
A. For a full weave an average person needs between 2-3 packs; any leftover hair can be
stored and used at a later date.
If you are purchasing hair over 18" you may need to purchase another pack to give enough .
volume to your extensions.
One pack should be enough for Tracks, giving you 4/5 tracks for hair up to 18".For fusion or
micro, we suggest you contact your stylist as there are many variations.
Q. What type of hair care products should I use?
A. Our customers use Pantene Pro V and Olive Oil Hair Polisher hair care products with their
extensions.
We suggest you use Gel and Hair Spray only for short periods of time to keep your hair
from drying out.
Treat your new hair as if it was your own- use high quality Shampoos and Conditioner
at least twice a week, to keep your new hair manageable and soft!
Q. Why are my hair extensions getting tangled?
A. Usually hair gets tangled because of a build-up of dirt, salt water, chlorine or dryness.
You can remove a lot of this by washing your hair regularly (at least 1-2 times a week) with
high quality Shampoo and Conditioner, and combing your hair daily.
Use a wide tooth comb and ensure that you are combing with the natural flow of the hair.
Also using high quality hydrating drops should help any tangles, and see your stylist for
professional advice.
Should none of these steps work please email us here, and we will be more than happy to
open a case for your extensions.
Please note- if you have brought Indian or Non-Remy hair then it is not 100% human hair,
this means that there is a higher chance of tangling.
Q. How long does it last?
A. If you maintain your extensions as you would your normal hair, it will last you a very long
time, typically customers tell us that it can last up to 1 year.
However, this depends completely on how the user maintains the hair- the better you
look after the hair, the longer it will last.
Q. Can I dye/ color the hair?
A. Yes. However we suggest that you look at dyeing the hair darker rather than lighter, as
it is hard to dye dark hair light.
Consult a professional stylist when dyeing your hair, as improper dyeing will ruin the hair.
Q. Can the hair be straightened or curled?
A. All of our hair is heat tested to 400 degrees to ensure it is safe to use with flat irons,
straighteners or tongs.
As with your natural hair, do not use hot tools too often as it will dry the hair out
