Honeycomb inclined tube packing is a kind of settling tank packing designed and developed on the basis of "shallow sedimentation" theory. Its shape is a hexagonal tube with an Angle of 60 degrees, so it is often called a hexagonal honeycomb inclined tube. This filler is mainly used in the sedimentation tank to remove suspended matter and sediment in the water, so it is also directly called honeycomb inclined tube filler.
In terms of material, honeycomb inclined tube packing is usually made of polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) materials, which have good chemical stability and corrosion resistance, and can adapt to various water quality environments.
The main characteristics of honeycomb inclined tube packing include large wet circumference, small hydraulic radius, good laminar flow state, and particle precipitation is not disturbed by turbulence. This enables it to effectively improve the precipitation efficiency and reduce the turbidity of the effluent in the water treatment process. In addition, when the honeycomb inclined pipe length is 1 meter, its effective load can reach 3-5 tons/meter 2, V0 control in the range of 2.5-3.0 mm/SEC, the effluent water quality is the best. Using the inclined tube sedimentation tank, its processing capacity can reach 3-5 times that of the flat flow sedimentation tank, so it also significantly reduces the footprint.
In practical application, honeycomb inclined tube packing is not only used for water outlet sand removal, industrial and domestic water precipitation, sewage precipitation, oil separation and tailings concentration treatment in water supply and drainage engineering, but also can be used for old pond transformation. In addition, it can also be used for fillers in various chemical reactions and gas-liquid mass transfer processes, such as gas-liquid adsorption, distillation separation, waste gas treatment, dust removal and purification.
