Beeswax Property:
Beeswax is in a solid state at room temperature and has a special fragrance of honey and powder. The colors are light yellow, medium yellow or dark brown and white. The section is in the form of crystals of tiny particles. Chewing sticky teeth, white after chewing, no oily taste. The specific gravity is 0.954-0.964, and the melting point is 62-67°C. Studies have found that beeswax is soluble in organic solvents such as benzene, toluene, chloroform, slightly soluble in ethanol, but insoluble in water, but under certain conditions, beeswax can form an emulsion with water.
Beeswax applied in Cosmetics manufacturing:
Utilizing its natural good adhesion, permeability, emulsification, smoothness and other characteristics, it is widely used in the production of cosmetic products such as creams, lipsticks, rouge, hair oils, eyebrow pencils, eye shadows, bath lotions, and lotions. It is formulated into a variety of medicinal and skin care ointments, plasters, creams, etc., mostly with beeswax as raw materials.
Makeup pencils are made by mixing oil, grease, wax and pigments, and after grinding, they are pressed into refills, sealed in wooden poles, and sharpened with a pencil sharpener when in use. The refill requires moderate hardness, easy drawing, natural and uniform color, good stability, no "sweating", no cracking, no breakage, soft to the skin, no irritation, and good safety. The wax is mainly beeswax.
