These streptavidin-biotin complex is the strongest known noncovalent interaction and has cascade amplification effect. (SA-Biotin) system has extremely high binding affinity (Kd=10^-15), It has a wide range of applications in the biological field. BeaverBeadsTM Streptavidin covalently connects the SA to the solid carrier surface by using BEAVER patented protein coupling technique, which can efficiently bind the ligands such as biotinylated antibodies, nucleic acids, proteins etc.
