Operation
1. Mount the telescope on a tripod, adjust the angle, remove the dust cover, and attach the eyepiece.
2. Align the finder scope with the object, make it in the center of the field of view.
3. Rotate the focus wheel slowly until see a bright, clear image.
If you're looking for a great starter telescope, but are worried about taking up too much space, has the answer! Our F80080EQ-A refractor packs a lot of stargazing performance into a compact telescope setup. The F80080EQ-A combines a wide-field refractor telescope with a stable equatorial (EQI) mount and adjustable tripod. The telescope's 80mm lens is larger than typical starter scopes which means you'll enjoy brighter views of everything you see. The F80080EQ-A will amaze the whole family with wide-field views of the Moon, planets, and even bright nebulas and star clusters. The included EQI equatorial mount is designed for convenient stargazing. It's equipped with handy slow-motion controls which allow easy manual tracking of celestial objects as they appear to move across the sky. Two 1.25" eyepieces are included. The included 20mm eyepiece provides a 40-power view through the telescope, while the included 4mm Plossl ocular boosts magnification up to 200x for closer looks. The EQI refractor also includes a 1.25" star diagonal for comfortable nighttime use, and a 5x24 Finderscope sight to help aim the telescope.
EQI Equatorial Equatorial: Navigate the sky with our refractor telescope. It features a EQI Equatorial mount with a slow-motion altitude rod for smooth and accurate pointing. Adjust rod to desired position, then easily secure by tightening cross knob.
