Introduction

This machine is a top feeding, drum type, external filter type vacuum permanent magnet filter, suitable for dehydration of coarse and strong magnetic particles. The drum is equipped with strontium ferrite permanent magnets, which can make the magnetic particles quickly adsorb on the filter cloth. Magnetic filter is mainly used for dehydration of pulp containing coarse and strong magnetic particles. Due to the top-feed design, the particles are clearly stratified in the filter cake according to the particle size. When the magnetic concentrate is formed into a filter cake, under the action of gravity and magnetic force, the coarse particles move to the filter cloth faster than the fine particles. Coarse particles first contact the filter cloth, making the filter cake airy. The magnetic particles in the pulp are radially laid on the surface of the drum under the magnetic attraction, and magnetic stirring is generated due to the change of magnetic poles. All these features create a favorable environment for filter cake dehydration; the filter cake produced by this method is usually thicker, has better air permeability, and the productivity is more than three times higher than that of other drum vacuum filters of the same specification.
