What We Want To Do
On November 16, 2013, a private helicopter in Seoul, South Korea crashed into a private apartment where the aviation obstacle indicator could not be activated normally, two pilots died on board.
On December 4, 2016, the freighter “Rongchang 98” touched a hundred acres of submerged reef and sank via the Zhoushan Cezi waterway.
At 23:39 on January 2, 2018, the Long Island-registered bulk carrier “Changping” and the Taizhou-registered dry cargo ship “Xinwang 138” collided in the waters of Wusongkou in Shanghai. The accident caused the “Changping” to sink. 10 crew members were missing.

Being a 10 years’ worker of safety signal lighting, I was disappointed with the industry’s selection of lights on top of the huge price difference between listed company and some private enterprise lights. Where were the quality visual signal lights at a reasonable price? After years of extensive market research, WelandSignalTM was born. We began our journey with 5 signature styles featuring visual signal lights fit for traffic, aviation and marine industry that included the first ever solar-integrated GSM monitoring lantern. Since then, we have created more than 20 types that range from beacons to AIS and Beacon combined system, all while holding up the spirit of ingenuity, withstanding the harsh environment.
