Attention:STM-050 tension meter only display tension,no control signal output,other functions same as STM-10PD.

Electrical Wiring

L+:positive terminal of tension detector input signal on left side

L-:negative terminal of tension detector input signal on left side

5V+:positive terminal of tension detector power supply on both sides

PE:detector shielding cable on both sides

GND:power supply negative terminal on both sides

R+: positive terminal of tension detector input signal on right side

R-:negative terminal of tension detector input signal on right side

STS sensor wiring

Iout: 0~20mA output

Vout: 0~10V output

5V+: 5V output

GND: output negative terminal of voltage and current

NOTE:

(1) If STM-10PD tension meter install STS Differential sensor by wuhan true engine company ,wiring colors as follows :

(2) If STM-10PD tension meter install STSA Strain-gauge sensor by wuhan true engin company ,wiring colors as follows :

“5V”—red “GND”—black, “Terminal +”—green, “Terminal-”—white,

(3) If only use one tension sensor,please use wires to connect L+ with R+,L- with R-.

“5V”—red “GND”—black, “Terminal +”—green, “Terminal-”—white,

Romove faults

1. The mass of detected reel is too large,the rated value of the tension detector is too small,both will cause the fault alarm of signal is too large.

2. C11 parameter value is not match with the actual tension sensor type,it will cause the fault alarm of signal too large or signal too small.

3. The wrap angle of film overt detector reel is too large,the force caused by film tension point to the screw ends of tension detector,ot will cause the fault alarm of signal is too small.

4. The tension sensor connect is not correct,fropped or damaged,left amd right pressure is imbalance,it will cause the fault alarm.

5. The load id too large will caused the fault alarm of "more than limit‘

Zero calibration

Machine power off, there is no film or film is loose.

Enter C01 parameter screen,press button can change C01 from 0 to 1,when it change from 1 to 0 automatic,zero calibration is completed.

After zero calibration,if up LED displays error and alarm indicator lightens,refer to section7, 8 for the problem.After trouble is remove,return C01 to zero calibration.

Span calibration

Machine power off.Thread a string through the reeler center like what the material does during the actual operation.Hang weights on the end of the string while the other end is fixed well.

The weights should be more than half of the rated measurement range of the detetor.

Enter C02 ,use , button to change its value to be equal to the hanged weight in Newton.

Enter C03,press button,change its value from 0 to 1,when 1 change to 0 automatic,span calibration is completed

After span calibration,if up LED displays error and alarm indicator lightens,refer to section7, 8 for the problem.After trouble is remove,return C03 to span calibration.
