Description:

2. The produced water is continuous and stable, and the effluent quality is high, while the water quality of the mixed bed will become worse when the resin is near to failure; EDI device is a continuous water purification process, so its product water quality is stable, and the resistivity is generally 15M Ω, up to 18M Ω, reaching the index of ultrapure water. The water purification process of the mixed bed ion exchange facility is intermittent. The product water quality is high just after regeneration, but poor before the next regeneration.
3. Low operation cost, regeneration only consumes electricity, no acid and alkali, saving material cost; The operation cost of EDI device includes power consumption, water consumption, reagent cost, equipment depreciation and other costs, saving acid and alkali consumption, reclaimed water, wastewater treatment, sewage discharge and other costs. In terms of power consumption, the EDI device is about. 5kWh/t of water, and the mixed bed process is about 0.35kWh/t of water. In terms of water consumption, EDI unit has a high water production rate and does not use recycled water, so the operating cost in this respect is lower than that of the mixed bed. As for the pharmaceutical cost and equipment depreciation cost, there is little difference between them. In general, the operating cost per ton of water of conventional mixed bed is higher than that of EDI device. Therefore, the extra investment cost of EDI devices can be completely recovered within a few years.
4. The environmental protection benefit is significant, and the operation safety is increased; EDI is an environment-friendly technology, which does not require chemical regeneration of acid and alkali, saves a lot of acid, alkali and cleaning water, and greatly reduces labor intensity. More importantly, there is no discharge of waste acid and alkali liquor. As a non chemical water treatment system, it does not require the storage and treatment of acid and alkali and no discharge of wastewater, so it has a special attraction for new users.
