During the process of charging and discharging the battery (the discharge is more obvious), some These small bubbles accumulate over time, reducing the area of the battery plate and indirectly affecting the capacity of the battery.
Therefore, such batteries are not efficient. At the same time, cadmium and cadmium compounds are toxic and seriously pollute the environment, so this type of battery is gradually being replaced by nickel-metal hydride batteries.
