Anodized Aluminium Sheet Description
Anodized aluminum plate is the aluminum plate placed in the corresponding electrolyte ( such as sulfuric acid , chromic acid , oxalic acid , etc . ) as the anode , under specific conditions and the action of external current , electrolysis .
Taking aluminum plate as anode and placing it in electrolyte solution , the process of forming aluminum oxide film on its surface by electrolysis is called anodic oxidation treatment of aluminum plate . The cathode in the device is the material with high chemical stability in the electrolytic solution , such as lead , stainless steel , aluminum , etc . The principle of anodic oxidation of aluminum is essentially the principle of hydrolysis . As the current passes through , hydrogen gas is released on the cathode ; At the anode , the oxygen precipitated is not only molecular oxygen , but also atomic oxygen ( O ) and ionic oxygen , usually represented as molecular oxygen in the reaction . The aluminum as anode is oxidized by the oxygen precipitated from it to form an anhydrous alumina film . The oxygen generated does not all interact with aluminum , but partly precipitates in the form of gaseous state .
