Deep drawing metal stamping
Deep drawing is the manufacturing process of processing sheet metal into parts or products that require irregular shapes, cylindrical shapes or closed bottoms. These types of shapes are obtained through the process of placing a metal plate in a cavity under compression and tension. Under highly controlled conditions, deep-drawing metal stamping materials are formed through a series of processes that are processed on the die radius of the machine. These processes include blank holding pressure, punch and die radius, punch speed and lubrication. The resulting deep-drawn metal stamping product is a hollow container, which can be cylindrical or square/rectangular in nature.
