In metal spinning, one of the oldest art forms in the world, a metal blank is pressed against a rotating steel or wooden mandrel firmly locked in a lathe chuck until the blank assumes the final mandrel shape. Using this manual process, H&H rotates aircraft parts, hub covers, pots and pans, and blower components from aluminum, steel alloys, brass, and copper. The circular shearing machine cuts the raw material received in sheet form into circular blanks, each of which has a specific size. The punch then punches holes in the blank before the spinning process. Their professional production workshop can process various thicknesses: aluminum 0.125 inches, 12 gauge cold rolled steel and 16 gauge stainless steel. Powder coating and even welding are needed.
