Transformer aluminum strip is the key raw material for manufacturing of transformer windings, it is rolled by the aluminum ingot.
In recent years, the aluminum foil strip is used as the conductive material for the winding of transformer. As is known to all, copper is widely used in many factories instead of copper wires because of the high price of copper materials. Since the unit resistance of aluminum wire is 64% larger than that of copper wire, this kind of substitution will increase the external dimension of the transformer. With aluminum foil strip instead of copper strip, it can not increase the size of the winding. Moreover, aluminium belt winding copper wire winding than there are certain advantages: due to the relatively uniform winding section temperature, short axial force; the interturn capacitance along the winding winding distribution, increase the stability of Overvoltage on impact; and realize mechanization winding process. But the existing aluminum band winding, in the process of winding, the aluminum belt or synthetic film placed in the aluminum layer, as a turn insulation, with a prominent aluminum belt insulation, to ensure the insulation of the ends of the winding. This kind of insulating material has low pressure resistance, temperature resistance and winding process, which seriously affects the working performance and service life of the transformer.
