3. Excellent welding performance and corrosion resistance, no stress corrosion cracking tendency. Among the aluminum alloys that can be strengthened by heat treatment, Al-Mg-Si alloy has no stress corrosion cracking phenomenon found in 6063. 4. After processing, the surface is very smooth and easy to anodize and stain. Its disadvantage is that if it is parked at room temperature for a period of time after quenching, it will bring adverse effects on the strength (parking effect).
