INTENDED USE
The Canine Anaplasma Antibody (ANA Ab) Rapid Test Cassette(Whole Blood/Serum/Plasma) is a sandwich lateral flowimmunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection ofCanine Anaplasma antibody (ANA Ab) in canine’s wholeblood,serum or plasma.
PRINCIPLE
The Canine Anaplasma Antibody Rapid Test Cassette is based onlateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The test cassette hasa testing window. The testing window has an invisible T (test) zoneand C (control) zone. When sample is applied into the sample wellon the cassette, the liquid will laterally flow on the surface of thetest strip. If there are enough Canine Anaplasma antibodies in thesample, a visible T line will appear. The C line should alwaysappear after a sample is applied, indicating a valid result. By thismeans, the cassette can accurately indicate the presence ofCanine Anaplasma antibodies in the sample.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
Store as packaged in the sealed pouch either at room temperatureor refrigerated (2-30 °C). The test is stable through the expirationdate printed on the sealed pouch. The test cassette must remainin the sealed pouch until use. DO NOT FREEZE. Do not usebeyond the expiration date.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Allow the test cassette, specimen, buffer to equilibrate toroom temperature (15-30 °C) prior to testing.
1.Collect canine’s fresh whole blood, serum or plasmasamples and ensure that the samples cannot be turbid orprecipitated. Only use clear, non-hemolyzed specimens. Donot leave the specimens at room temperature for prolongedperiods. Serum and plasma specimens may be stored at2-8 °C for up to 3 days. For long term storage, serum andplasma specimens should be kept below -20°C.
2.Place the test cassette on a clean and level surface.
3.Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 2 drops of sample(approximately 20 μL) and immediately add 2 drops ofbuffer (approximately 80 μL) into the specimen well (S),then start the timer.
4.Read the result in 10 minutes. Do not interpret results after15 minutes.
